IVMF Ambassador Fly-In 2025
This past weekend, we had the privilege of gathering in Syracuse, New York, for the IVMF Ambassador Fly-In 2025. It was more than a conference—it felt like a gathering of purpose, leadership, and shared commitment to empowering the veteran and military spouse community.
Friday: Arriving with PurposeFrom the moment we arrived on campus at Syracuse University, the energy was undeniable. Ambassadors from across the country—each representing their own region—came together with a common mission: strengthen local ecosystems and create pathways of success for veteran entrepreneurs. The opening sessions quickly set the tone, reminding us that this program is about more than ideas. It’s about action.Saturday – Training, Connection, and Clarity
Saturday: was a full day of learning and collaboration. We dove into workshops on ecosystem leadership, mapping community resources, and building stronger networks for veterans and their families. The discussions were practical and candid—what’s working in our regions, what’s not, and how we can sharpen our efforts for maximum impact. One of the most powerful aspects was simply connecting with one another. Over coffee, during breakouts, or even walking through campus, conversations flowed about projects, partnerships, and shared challenges. It felt like being part of a national think tank rooted in service.
Sunday: Recognition and InspirationThe weekend closed with the 2025 Ambassador Impact Awards, a celebration of leadership, innovation, and service. Recognizing our peers for their work was more than symbolic—it was a reminder that this community is making real change on the ground. Seeing those successes highlighted gave us renewed motivation to carry that momentum back into our regions.
Looking Ahead: What stood out most to us was the clarity of purpose this weekend gave. The Fly-In wasn’t just about strategy—it was about sharpening our collective commitment to veterans and their families. Whether it’s through entrepreneurship training, financial readiness, or simply connecting people to the right resources, we left Syracuse with new tools, stronger connections, and a sense of shared responsibility. Walking away, we felt proud to be part of this movement. The weekend wasn’t just a milestone in the program—it was a spark for what’s ahead in 2025.
